Pablo Galvez was born in Granada, Spain. He graduated Pharmaceutical Studies at the University of Granada and completed a Masters in Lyrical and Scenic Interpretation from the University of Jaén (Spain).
He currently studies with Mª del Coral Morales and Giulio Zappa and has also worked with teachers such as Renato Bruson, Mariella Devia, Teresa Berganza, Carlos Chausson, Alfonso Antoniozzi, Joan Pons and Ana Luisa Chova; with pianists like Michele D'Elia, Rubén Fernández Aguirre, Simone Sabina, Giorgio Martano. He has sung with conductors such as Daniel Oren, Francesco I. Ciampa, Daniele Callegari, Carlo Rizzi, Miquel Ortega, Gianluca Capuano, Óliver Díaz and Yi-Chen Lin; as well as stage directors like Hugo de Ana, Emilio Sagi, Silvia Paoli, Nicola Berlofa, Rosetta Cucchi, Pier Francesco Maestrini and Curro Carreres.
He won the first prize at the Concurso Juventudes Musicales España in 2009, as well as at the prestigious As.Li.Co competition in January 2016, earning the role of "Guglielmo" in the production of Così fan tutte, and the third prize at the Concurso Internacional de Canto "Ciudad de Logoño" in April 2017.
In the operatic repertoire he has performed numerous roles, to include the "Maestro" in Ainadamar (Golijov), "Morales" in Carmen (Bizet), "Masetto" in Don Giovanni (Mozart), "Belcore" in L'elisir d'amore (Donizetti) at the Teatro Sociale di Como, "Il Conte d'Almaviva" in Le nozze di Figaro (Mozart) at the Opera Studio 2015 in Tenerife and at the Teatro Comunale di Bologna in May 2016; "Guglielmo" in Così fan tutte (Mozart) at the Lombard circuit As.Li.Co., "Le Comte de Toulouse" in Jérusalem (Verdi) in his debut at the "Festival Verdi" of the Teatro Regio di Parma in October 2017 and also in the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall in concert version, together with conductor Daniel Oren, in November 2018; "Valentin" in Faust (Gounod) and "Giorgio Germont" in La Traviata (Verdi) at Ópera de Tenerife; "Prosdocimo" in Il Turco in Italia (Rossini) at Ópera de Oviedo, "Taddeo" in L'italiana in Algeri (Rossini) at the Teatro Comunale di Bologna, "Dottor Bartolo" in Il Barbiere di Siviglia (Rossini) at Teatro Bellini di Catania, "Don Quijote" in El Retablo de Maese Pedro (Falla) with Orquesta de Radio Televisión Española, "Dottor Malatesta" in Don Pasquale (Donizetti), "Goyanes" in María Moliner (Parera) and "Carrasquilla" in Don Gil de Alcalá (Penella).
In the symphonic repertoire, he has performed the Choral Fantasy (Beethoven) and in the sacred repertoire, Petite Messe Solennelle (Rossini), Requiem por un vivo (Serrano), Die Schöpfung (Haydn), Requiem (Fauré), Requiem and Coronation Mass (Mozart), Messiah (Handel) and Messa di Requiem (Donizetti).
In the zarzuela repertoire, he has performed "Leonello" in La Canción del Olvido (Serrano) in concert version at the Teatro de la Zarzuela in Madrid, "Lorenzo Pérez" in Doña Francisquita (Vives), "Romero" in Pan y Toros (Barbieri) at Teatro de la Zarzuela, Temporada de Zarzuela de Oviedo and Palau de Les Arts Valencia, and "Vidal Hernando" in Luisa Fernanda (Moreno Torroba) at Ópera de Tenerife.
Future engagements include “Belcore" in L'elisir d'amore in Ópera de Burgos, the baritone in Glory Mass by Puccini in Temporada Lírica de Granada 24/25 and "Dancairo" in Carmen Bizet in Teatro de la Maestraza Villamarta.
